Motion Crafts – Small Envelope

I know these have been around for a while, but I’ve only just discovered Motion Crafts. If you aren’t familiar with these, they allow you to create interactive cards that animate when you pull a special grid across the stamp.

This particular die set is actually perfect for gift cards, and it’s great in general even if you don’t use it with the animated stamp.

Christmas Advent Calendar Folio – Box With Attached Lid

This is the second style of advent calendar folios I created. The main difference from the first style is in the box construction. I’ll be honest though, this method needs tweaking. After I put the candies in, I found the lid isn’t secure enough to hold the candy in. I had to make more advent calendars in a hurry and didn’t have time to redesign this one, so I ended up making the rest of my advent calendars in the first style.

Cards Using Crafter’s Companion Box Kit 13 – Flower Forming

Flower forming with foam (or foamiran) is a first for me. I was excited but also a little nervous to try this new method–especially since it involves a hot iron. After my first flower, I was hooked! FLIP – Crafter’s Companion Box 17 – Shaker Cards

This Shaker Card Box Kit is really fun beyond just making shaker cards. Not only do you get nested dies in different shapes, but there’s a very generous amount of shaker bits too. You’ll be making shaker cards for days! What’s great about the shaker bits that come in the kit, is you can use it for embellishments as well.… Read the rest

This is such a fun kit! The dies are pretty unique to anything I have in my stash. They actually do a partial die cut and there are several different sizes in butterflies and flowers. The butterflies just cut the wings but leave the body attached to the card. The flowers also have some extra dimension that’s created with some partial die-cutting.… Read the rest

FLIP – Crafter’s Companion Craft Box #28 – Character-Over-The-Edge

I was so excited to dive into this kit. I have a few other boxes I haven’t even opened, but I wanted to get straight into this box because I had been eyeing the “character-over-the-edge” dies for a while now. And I love them all so it’s so hard to just get one or two — I want them ALL!

F.L.I.P. Crafter’s Companion Craft Box #21 – Build-A-Character

I love the Build-A-Character line of dies from Crafter’s Companion. I find it easier and more fun than stamping a coloring. Because of the layering, you often still get some dimension. This particular kit is awesome because there are actually two styles of build-a-characters. The first is pre-printed and pre-cut pieces that you just need to pop out and then assemble.… Read the rest
