This was a super fun kit to work with. I really like the Edge’ables line of dies that Crafter’s Companion offers. It really does allow you to create really lovely, impressive cards. Also, it’s nice to know you can use them to create pop-outs on the inside of your card! One thing that makes this particular kit stand out for me is that it includes so many different card blank styles! Usually you just get a folded card and maybe the occasional easel card. This one had a concerntina/accordian card, another fun fold, easel card, etc. Amazing!

Tips & Tricks
- Try using the floral die cut as a stencil. You can die cut a panel out, stencil through it onto your card and then once you’re done, you can use your stencil for another card!
- If you use the edgeable die as a pop-out like my pop-up card, be certain to note where the actual cutting edge is relative to the metal that you see. Often the cutting edge is a bit in from the edge of the die itself. When you line up your cutting plate to do a partial die cut, leaving the top still attached, you want to make sure you are below enough of the cutting edge. In my video, I cut it a little too close, I think.
- On the Happy Birthday edge’able, I like to inlay the bottom portion of the word happy back in. I think it makes the word more legible and consistent with the top portion of the word. My easel and interactive shaker cards are examples of this. I wish I’d done it on my pop-up card too.
