I was going through all my paper collections trying to get organized and maybe use up paper packs. But I felt oddly precious about all of my papers — I wanted to save a sheet from each pack just so I could see the unique designs. In particular, I got a lot of mileage (a.k.a projects) out of the DCWV Rose Quartz paper pack. But I just couldn’t bring myself to cut into the last sheets remaining.
I don’t have a large stash of pattern paper because I’m just starting to use it in my card making. But, I’m getting into album-making now and so I just ordered a lot more designer paper. I know I’m going to have a storage nightmare on my hands if I feel this precious about all my papers to come. 🙂
With albums on the brain, it occurred to me that I have the perfect die set to create a little swatch book — the Tonic Studios Legacy Keeper Base Wallet. I think this is an older die set, but you can check CraftStash to see if they have it. (They always have fantastic prices!)
Here’s a walkthrough of my Rose Quartz Swatchbook. Enjoy!
