Description
They only way to subscribe to this monthly box is via HSN when they rarely open it up to new subscribers. I know some retail stores have it — I’ve heard Tuesday Morning sometimes carry it for a fantastic price. I bought my first ones at Joann’s. However, I just discovered that Scrapbook.com is selling a huge variety of them! Everywhere else I’ve found them online it’s just a few different boxes but it looks like Scrapbook.com has most if not all the most recently released and even some of the older kits too.
Each kit highlights a product line from Crafters Companion, so it’s a nice intro to the types of products they offer. For example, they have a variety of dies — create-a-card, edge’ables, etc. So you get something exclusive in the kit that’s a cool little intro.
Every kit *generally* includes the following:
- Card stock (8″ x 8″)
- Pattern paper (8″ x 8″)
- Die set
- Stamp set
- Ribbon (3 sizes in 3 colors each)
- Pearls (3 sizes in 3 colors each)
- 18-24 Card bases with matching envelopes
Some kits have more or less but on the whole based on the ones I have, the above is rather standard.
This kit features their decoupage line. It does include some pre-printed flowers that you can layer up. The dies coordinate to cut all the decoupage pieces. But what’s awesome is once the pre-printed pages are done, you have a stamp set that allows you to stamp and color the same flowers and use the same coordinating dies to cut. It’s fantastic that you get some to start right away, but then you have the stamps and dies that last long after the pre-printed flowers run out!
