I wish I could justify buying a huge (full) set of these pencils. They are FANTASTIC! I love how easy it is to color. The nice thing about these (compared to the prismacolors) is that they have a harder lead, so they keep their sharp tip longer. The benefit of that is when you are coloring on paper that has a bit of a texture or grit to it (as you should with color pencil work), that sharp tip can really get into all the nooks and crannies of the paper. It saves you from pushing down hard while coloring to burnish to get a more “solid” look. I only have a 12-pencil set but it’s well worth it all the same because it is the all the basic colors, so if I learn to mix my colors I can in theory create every color. Though it’ll just be easier to get the full set, right? LOL
