Description
This is the first brand of paper quilling paper I got and I’ve stuck with it. It’s 120 GSM, so thicker than your standard printer paper. I have to admit, I haven’t compared it to anything, so I’m not sure if it’s the best. It seems to work perfectly well for my purposes and it seems affordable. When my inventory runs low, I may try another brand, and will post links if I find something better. These papers do come in different heights and metallic shades. I did find something called “tant” paper (116 GSM) by the same company, which is supposed to be very high-quality paper from Japan. It’s typically an origami paper, but is used in quilling as well.
If you haven’t tried paper quilling, consider this card kit. This is what my sister-in-law got me and I’ve been hooked since. It’s nice to have the basic supplies, tools and 10 card projects to get you started. I did quickly add to my tool set with some additional supplies. Juya doesn’t have a kit that contains exactly what I got but this kit comes close.
