Glazes & Drops – There are glazes that give your projects a nice shine and can cover a broader area. Drops are often used to make almost pearl-like accents. They have a nice shine and when applied over an inked surface can almost look like stained glass. Personally, I use Diamond Glaze but Glossy Accents and Nuvo Drops are other great options I’ve heard a lot about (but haven’t personally used yet). I’ll probably try the Nuvo drops soon though because it comes in so many different colors. I like that it’s basically a more controlled version of epoxy dots because you can make it as large/small as you want. I might experiment a little to see if I can color my diamond glaze with mica powder but if that doesn’t work, Nuvo drops, here I come!
I also use a black glaze pen because I do stamp & ink a lot of critters, so this is great for making the eyes glisten a little. Combined with my white gel pen for the highlight it really brings the critters to life!
