Hi have started to LOVE pastels. I hope I can get to the point where I can create a portrait of my puppies with pastels and color pencil. That’s what I’m aspiring to. 🙂
Using these in combination with color pencils is fantastic. They give such a soft beautiful coverage. It’s a great way to lay down a foundation of color or to “fill” if you can’t or don’t want to fully burnish with your color pencils. I also use it to give a soft, billowy background to my colored images as well. So fun to use!
