Description
I am a huge fan of custom lettering. I like to personalize my cards with names, inside jokes, movie quotes, etc. I think if you’re going to go to the trouble of making a greeting card by hand it’s a good opportunity to really tailor it to the card recipient. I don’t sell my cards, afterall, so most my cards go to someone I know.
I’m planning a little video series going over all the different ways I achieve custom lettering but below is a short list of the many tools I have:
- Pegz – these are FANTASTIC. You can attach them together to build words both horizontally and vertically. I don’t have this particular brand but the one I have isn’t available on Amazon anymore. I recommend getting both the Upper and Lowercase even though I’m just linking to the uppercase ones. They also have a number & symbols set. The set I bought came with upper, lower and numbers in a bundle so I bought 2 full sets. The nice thing about the listings below is that they already have some duplicate letters for the ones that tend to get used a lot in a single word, so you don’t have to buy two full sets like I did.
- Extra Large
- Large
- Medium
- Small
- Pink & Main Curvy Girl Font (I do have this one. Love it!)
- We R Memory Keepers Word Punch Board
- Custom Address Stamp
- Letter Stencils (2 inch and 1 inch)
That doesn’t even include the alphabet clear stamps and thin dies I have! Yes, I do love my custom lettering tools.
