I decided to start making mini albums for my family. In particular, I want to make the Sizzix Mini Album for my nieces and nephews on their birthday so they can commemorate each age. That’s the idea anyhow. We’ll see how interested they are in actually filling out the albums. LOL. I’ve already put together a few and they come together so quickly (especially compared to hand-cut and hand-wrapped albums made from scratch). I think I can easily make these each year for the kiddos. Hopefully they love them. I know I would have loved having these as a kid.
Anyhow, Sizzix had a major sale going on and I looked for dies to make embellishments for the albums. These Journal Phrases are so perfect! It’s a very basic set, but that makes it all the more versatile. I love having the numbers because I can put either the year or the ages of my niece/nephew so they know which age they are commemorating. The numbers are one die that will cut them all out but if you just want certain numbers you can always just put cardstock under the specific number you need.
