I made this lovely thank you card with just a few of the dies from the APG Die of the Month. With some creative foliage placement and trimmings, you can hardly tell this is two die cuts combined to create that diamond trellis in the background.

Love this card – I love the word die also -what die did you use
Thanks so much! The word die is from an older collection called “Bold Type”. Right now I only see two sets available — “Congrats” and “Merry Christmas”. http://shrsl.com/3m6qp They are on sale/clearance right now, but honestly, I bought them for less than the current price (I think it was during a warehouse sale).

I love that gold trellis. Never would have thought of using two bottom trimmed parts to create it. I really thought that the seam wouldn’t look right but once you put on the sentiment and florals it turned out amazing!

What a great pop-up card and use of patterned paper. Until this hop I have been reluctant to try using pattern paper like this; but you have definitely made the light bulb turn on for some ideas. Cannot wait to try it!
