Today I’m crafting with the Glimmer of the Month. One of the things I love about Glimmer plates like the ones this month is they make stunning holiday cards that are so quick to make but are stunning!
To create my card, I first Glimmered gold onto black cardstock, which I always think makes the foil really pop! I wanted to do some coloring to add some variation in the open areas. So for some of the foliage, I “painted” it in with a little big of pearl powder dissolved in water. Pearl powders are wonderful because they having a binding agent that is activated by water, so you can easily paint with them to color in stamped or foiled images like this one. It just adds even more sparkle and shine to this card!
