Marla joined us live for Let’s Talk Design Teams – Part 1. She shared so many insights, tips and encouragement in the live chat. I’m so excited she’ll be joining as a panelist to discuss in more depth her experience not just as a design team member, but as a design team coordinator! She brings such a wealth of knowledge and experience to our already amazing panel of designers.

I started out my crafty adventure as a scrapbooker in the 90’s and transitioned to cardmaking about 10 years ago. I fell into becoming a YouTube Creator by accident. I had requests to share my craft hauls, so I created my first video. Then, I was asked by a FB group to make a video to show how I created a flower I had added to a card, so I filmed a rough process video. Out of the blue, I was contacted to join a new hop group called “Team Tiny.” I had never had a desire to be a content creator but thought it would be fun. I was one of the original members of this YouTube group that still exists, to help small channels grow through video hops. I eventually applied to a design team and the rest is history. As a card designer I am eclectic, I don’t think I have a niche. I enjoy creating cards using a variety of mediums, techniques and styles.
