Gather Stamp Set
I love that “GIRL BOSS” is included in this stamp set! It’s such a fun sentiment! This card will be going to one of my nieces. 😉
I did lose my video footage, so I don’t have a tutorial video, but I’ll describe the steps I took below.
How I Made This Card
- Gold Crown –
- Cut a rectangle out of copy paper / scratch paper the same height and width of the crown you want to make.
- Fold the paper in half along the long edge
- Cut a “V” . Start from the corner of the open edge, go down about half way at an angle and then go back up to the opposite corner (the folded edge). You will want a sharper angle when you cut down and a more slight angle when you come back up.
- Cut a slight curve along the bottom edge. Cut from the corner of the open edge but don’t curve back down when you reach the folded edge. Aim to have it be relatively straight (horizontal) when you reach the folded edge so when you open it, it continues on without dipping down.
- Gold Heat Emboss Words & hearts
- Gold Spatters
- I spatter with a Gum Arabic / Water solution. I have a 1:1 dilution of powder gum arabic to distilled water. I add a touch of water to loosen up the solution so it spatters nicely
- After splattering on some of the gum arabic / water, I cover with gold embossing powder and then heat set it as usual
