Motion Crafts – Small Card

After making the Small Envelope project (which I use as a gift card holder), I was hooked on these animated stamps by Motion Crafts. I buy them directly from the Motion Crafts website. These are fun, interactive projects that will surely be a lot of fun for whoever you give them to.

Tips & Tricks

  • Be sure to line up your animation stamp so it’s exactly parallel to your animation grid to ensure a crisp image.
  • Motion Crafts sells dies that let you cut your own animation grids.
  • Custom animation grids are great because you can use your own colored cardstock, they are already the perfect size, and you can match your cardstock to your stamp to created colored images.
  • I sandwich my custom animation grid between thin acetate. This protects the cardstock from being torn or snagged.
  • Animate your sentiment stamps by stamping through an animation grid cut out of thin acetate. The thinner the better so your stamp can reach the paper. You can animate between two words by first stamping one word, then moving your acetate animation grid to cover what you just stamped and then stamping the second word.
